The writer makes a bunch of assumptions about Trump beating Obama in 2012.

I think his assumptions are flawed.

He didn't factor in the number of registered voters in 2012 & 2016

he also didn't factor how many stayed home in both elections.

I wonder if the stay home vote is a factor or non-factor in some states.

If he worked in the percentages in assumptions. the result might be more accurate.
