Ladies: I have had some requests from Houma and would like some input on traveling there. I understand it is only an hour's drive? And the guys work in the energy field? What about hotels, and is there heat like in Baton Rouge?
Fun places to eat/drink? What do I need to know?

The ladies can speak more to this, but I am under the impression there is very little heat in Baton Rouge. The only ones that have recently been popped are SW's. I know I can speak for one guy, but I would LOVE to see you come to Baton Rouge.

Houma is an absolutely wonderful place to visit. The men are gentlemanly, there's a sushi restaurant downtown, the BP people have gone and the men have the most fabulous attitude and accents.

Olivia...you're definitely right about the attitudes of the gentlemen there. I 100% loved the people I met on my visit. Very sweet, very open, and very ready to enjoy themselves to the fullest. I would totally repeat my visit in a heartbeat.

Clair...its on. I've been super busy at my day job, but if I can get a minute to breathe, then I'm sure gonna try to make a day or two to get over there. I'll PM you.

You know Houma is my favorite place to visit. There aren't many nice hotels, just fair. I like the ramada because of the bar and the giant hot tub, but it is totally 2.5 star room at best, lol. The men are fabulous, generous and loyal. Very down to earth. Have fun miss Clair, it will definately be a change from your Northern roots!

Kiddos; I was actually cu#nted out of Nola, so have moved on. It's festival season and w/o a base place to stay, just impossible! I am an assertive Nyer, and I like my drama placed on the table, and cannot buy into immature passive-agressive bs...believe me, you don't want to hear the rest.
Suffice to say, I will come back in the Fall to visit, but for now...see ya!
