The Interview

This is not a movie I would go see. But seriously, Kim Jung Un is pissing me off. Normally I'm a pacifist, but someone needs to squash this foul little bug.

North Korea is playing the leftist game now. They are offering to "help" in the investigation like Holder wanted to "help" in investigating the IRS or that Jim Wright (former speaker of the house) only wanted to "[halp]" the GOP president.
Of course North Korea is demanding to help or face an attack. Time to park an aircraft carrier off the coast of North Korea and lance this pimple on humanity. That is what drones are for right?

Weekend Update did a pretty good job making fun of Sony and N. Korea too

I think it's a publicity stunt.
This "controversy" has drawn more attention to the movie than it was getting, or could have ever gotten, on it's own.
They'll release it after the first of the year in limited theaters with "heightened security" and probably at the same time on DVD for those who are scared to go to the theater. The movie will make money, count on it!
If the ploy works well enough watch for other studios to try something similar.

SNL, Now that was good!

Sounds to me like Sony needs to improve their IP security, the movie theaters need to grow a pair and the bigger question .... COG, this is what pushes you in the direction for war! . Don't nobody fuck with COG's VHS gay porn collection. He'll be ready to nuke ya!

After reading this article I'm even more convinced it is a stunt.
The article points to "hacktivists" and gives sound reasoning but...There is a large demographic that would be attracted to a Seth Rogen, James Franco flick that probably have no idea who Kim is, where North Korea is or why this movie would be funny or relevant. I bet they know now.

Sort of like the Gun Manufacturers. Sales get a little slow, just send a private memo to "Barry". ......"Give a speech". Bingo, demand goes through the ceiling.

Never said I wanted war, I just want this guy to shut the fuck up. Since Kim is about the only one in North Korea who has electricity, an EMP might be a good idea. It would knock out his access to western movies and basketball. If we can't watch what we want, neither can he.
