how about all the crap everyone else has done. and the charity thing that's nothing new. most all money donated to charities goes to pay the higher ups, very little of your dollar actually goes to help the cause.

well the sad fact about that is that there isn't much to choose from out there. i don't believe an "honest" politician exists.

Someone has supported gun rights their entire life. They run for office and based on their record the NRA supports them. The media tells you that they sold out to the NRA. They lie.
Someone runs for office and they say that want a border fence to go with immigration reform. The media just says that they want immigration reform and forget to mention the fence. They lie.
Someone who runs for office tells the absolute truth about a situation but does it in an artless way. The media will call them a bigot or hate monger but won't tell you that they spoke the truth. They lie.
The Kansas City Star did a run down of all the lobbyist perks recieved by every member of the Missouri legislature. They listed them from most to least. The most recieved over $31,000 in gifts and the least got a salad at a lobbyist luncheon, then he declared the salad and paid for it our of his own pocket. An honest man! Guess who got the most press? The biggest sleaze. They lie.
