I've been a sucker for scalp massage ever since first experiencing it in my teens. I went to get my hair cut at a salon my mother went to. Right inside the door was a sink, at which sat an old, African-American woman; all she did was wash hair, during which she gave an amazing scalp massage. I've had many since, but probably none better. It was almost orgasmic. I guess you never forget your first time!

I do have a brush similar to the one described in the OP's article, and it works pretty well. And a (civvie) lady I know will sometimes massage my scalp in the afterglow, I guess if I've earned it!
