I am headed to Montgomery next Wednesday and haven't a clue as to what area to stay in. Can someone help?

Seriously, what Alasp said. If you're looking for places to eat nearby try Mr. G's (Greek/Italian) on the Atlanta Hwy and Bell Road or Eastside Grill (American) at Atlanta Hwy and McLemore Drive in the Walmart shopping center. There are numerous restaurants in the Shoppes at Eastchase too. Red Robin, Texas Roadhouse, Panera Bread, Moe's, et al.
