Three people, two teenage women and one man, ripped off a man at a mall. He turned out to be a mayoral candidate. So now they are in deep shit. Okay, here is the moral. If they knew or suspected that he was a mayoral candidate do you think they would have done the same thing? Any reasonable person is going to say probably not. Why look for trouble. Okay, now suppose that instead of a possible mayoral candidate they were worried about armed citizens with the authority to defend themselves? They would probably go for an easier target...like an elementary school! Then again, this mall was probably a "gun free" zone.

I'm sure they weren't up to speed on who was running for mayor ..or cared.
If you watch Leno when he does Jaywalking and the questions he asks ordinary people it will not surprise you .
