I've just figured out why I like perusing Backpage escorts

Faces! The girls there almost always show their faces and providers here largely do not. Why is that? What is the big aversion to showing us one of your BEST features?

Honestly privacy. I show my face everywhere because this is my full time "career" but some women have lives outside of the hobby.. Wouldn't wanna see your sons teacher with her face all online..
You know?
Maybe not the bank teller down the street.

Are the girls worried their Preacher/Priest/Rabbi is going to be looking for a provider?
Their boss?
Their dad?
A co-worker?

What's the worst that could happen? Someone sees you that knows you and outs you: that person runs the same risk of being outed as a Monger. I know it happens from time to time, usually with both an unstable provider AND unstable monger, but it is by far the exception, right?

Perhaps the answer to your inquiry resides in this profoundly simple question:

Why don't you show your face?

Annnndd therein lies your answer.

That's the sound of my post going right over your head.

But I'm never surprised by that here (Laughs. Cries. Headdesk.)

@ Miss Valentina... And BTW, your attitude toward me is unwarranted and unappreciated. Providers hate when mongers are rude on here and complain that Austin Eccie is contentious, but you just drew first blood! I'm not interested in a fight, and won't engage in one.

But yeah, nice eye candy on backpage. Almost a porn site.
It could negatively effect the providers real world persona. For example, let's say a provider has a family with kids. And one of her sister's friends sees a picture of her on ECCIE and the friend goes to the sister and says ,hey, guess what,I saw your sister on Eccie and she provides. That's not legal is it???? Then the friend says I'm gonna call CPS..child protection services because she's shouldn't be raising kids in that environment. And on and on and on. Or the provider has a real world job. Say in education.. if someone saw her on Eccie and routes her - she would be fired. She could not only lose her job but her professional reputation would be ruined. Do you see now?

Are you still grumpy about Sha Na Na breaking up or what? That's certainly not worth getting your rectum all in a ruffle.

You asked a question you may have answered yourself had you applied five minutes of brain power to it.

I responded.

You may notice that's how it works here in co-ed. People post, other people respond. You may also notice that I didn't even respond to your request for an explanation. (as if the question itself isn't rather self-evident; sheesh)

Additionally, I'm not looking for fight. Frankly you couldn't give me one darling.

I think ms. V post was about most if us wanting discretion and anonimity. Esp. from those outside this world.
You use that rule as an " if only it was allowed" excuse, when in reality. Even if the rule wasnt there 90% of us still wouldnt show our faces

But the other scenario you offer is WAY unlikely. What kind of an asshole gets on Eccie to look for girls, then decides to take up the mantle of modesty and propriety to report her? I'm not buying it.
