Where’s the best place for an Omaha Steak?

I hear that’s what you guys are famous for and I’m visiting this week so need to know where to go eat! Thanks!

Those are my favorite. Of course there's Longhorns & Outback but I prefer a nice ass steak.

Okay so Sullivan’s was a huge let down. I have bartender and waited tables and I didn’t have it in me to send back the second filet but omg first one was extremely dry (I ordered med) Zim from Ztexas and maybe our med is different than ya’lls lol d sad o get decond fillet and omg was trying not to be rude, first bite was good but second I couldn’t chew tjen griddle that stayed forever like a piece of yarn? Crazy!!!! This is not good place to recommend or maybe I just came on bad day? The Bloody Mary is good ! I did like that! I don’t recommend eating here at all!

I think I’ll go desMoines! Okay guys... 107 dollars later THAT WAS THE WIRDT STEAK I EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! Make note I came from poor and my dad made really aweful cheap steaks!!! I didn’t even know I liked steaks till I had a real one! Lol

I am surprised. I lived downtown for 5 years and went there a few times a year. It was always fabulous. But then again I haven’t been there in around 7 years. Shoulda tried the Drover, a Nebraska original, and not some chain. The whiskey rib eye is off the charts.

I do think it can be difficult to get a medium steak just right. I like mine somewhere between medium rare and medium. That is almost impossible except on my grill at home.

Fleming’s.

I never ate at Sullivan's, but always heard good things about it. Not sure if Covid changes mean new cooks or something. Drover's really good reputation. There is a Flemings in Omaha too which is also a chain store.

Maybe just a bad day for steaks that day but I have found my new most favorite place to eat in Omaha is Planks! Love it!!! Going back for fourths soon! Lol
