Things to do in Albany.

I am visiting Albany and was wondering what there is to do in this city
I am sure u didn't intend it that way, but that's a straight line if ever there was one within context of Albany. Might help a bit to narrow down a bit...entertainment,culture, history, nightlife, and such.Welcome btw....
I'm open to any suggestions Tom, this is my 1st time here!
Food, no shopping.
Outdoor attractions
Old book stores
I dont do nightlife.
I love culture and history .
Throw me your best ideas!
New York State Museum (down near empire state plaza/state capitol building)
Thank you! I'll have to check it out

125 Washington, Ave., Albany

Short drive away: Fort Ticonderoga
at the north end of Lake George. A nice drive, taking Route 9N, with several interesting spots to stop along the way (after the rains stop).
Thank you Jon.
Thanks guys! I'll definitely have a little to keep me occupied
