That's the point. The computer models and/or experts can't predict hurricane activity in December so what's the validity of models that are predicting fraction of degree in temperature 50 years from now.

The bigger story is Canada pulling out of the Kyoto Protocol as well as the signatory "developed" countries not making any real progress in reaching targets.
