I keep getting more and more Gents contacting me privately through my email that I never check instead of through the site. I tried to find it but I can't find a way to get rid of my email address option to just have it so that I get messages only sent to my inbox here.

You cannot remove your email as the forum needs the email in it. You can however not have emails from members. Follow these instructions:
Go to your user CP on the left of the page
Under the Settings & Options section
Click on Edit Options
Under the Messaging & Notifications area
Un-click the Receive Email from other members box
Then go to bottom of the page click on Save Changes
