Stone Temple Pilots

Just got back from the STP show at Moody Theater....It was awesome! Scott Weiland kicked ass...He does not talk much at all in between songs...They just went one right after another...One of the encores was my favorite song Dead and Bloated. He never stopped dancing around the entire show...They played about an hour and a half..

The moody theater is an awesome venue it was my first time there. Very nice! I sure did enjoy lots of good eye candy too.

I did see one guy throw up and they had to carry him out...What an idiot got so drunk he did not even make it for STP.

Wyldeman30,

You know Sup can't follow along if you don't post a link. Remember he's been in time-out for quite a while so try and make it easy on him.

Here you go Sup.

Stone Temple Pilots were/are a 90's band that I personally never cared for and felt were best described by Pavement in their song Range Life (implying that had the look and the act down, but were just an imitation of bands that came before them):

"Out on tour with the Smashing Pumpkins
Nature kids, I- they don’t have no function
I don’t understand what they mean
And I could really give a fuck

Stone Temple Pilots, they’re elegant bachelors
They’re foxy to me, are they foxy to you?
I will agree they deserve absolutely nothing
Nothing more than me"

I figure I'll catch hell for saying this, but what's the fun if everyone agrees all the time. I realize opinions on such things are highly subjective, so feel free to flame away if this get's your panties in a bunch.

Thanks for the link, but totally unnecessary, bud. The 90s...I'm sure we all agree it was a most prolific time for music.

YOW!
Saw STP last year at the backyard. One of my favorite concerts ..

Wanted to see them at Moody theater awesome venue. But went to see 311 and sublime at the backyard Sunday with a sweet lady friend and it was awesome! I don't partake in 420 but there was so much in the air I was high by association LOL ....

Love the backyard! Great venue

I could not pass up a free show...I like STP not my favorite band, I do like a few songs.

I was bummed that I missed the Ian Moore band reunion. I had company so I could not go...

I have never seen 311 live. I would like to one day.
