for the p411 verification process, how do they verify my employment ? what kind of questions do they ask? who do they get in contact with?
i cant afford to lose my job or somehow let people know im interested in hobbying.

I am in a very similar position and joined without any problems. Your best bet is just call them and explain your situation. They are very helpful and discrete. The people are very sharp and not just rote robots that you find with some businesses.
