First Visit to Houston

So it’s my first time going to Houston so I need some advice. I’ll be visiting Father’s Day week not too sure yet to do Tuesday -Thursday or do Thursday -Saturday also which hotels do you recommend and in what area. Thanks for the help. XoXo - Gio
