If the GOP was smart, they would speed up the process of driving Obamacare to its natural conclusion - a single payer system. Push everybody into it, cap all fees, and force healthcare costs down to about 12 % of the GDP from its current position of about 18%.

The healthcare will be cheap but lousy, except for those who can afford elite private care.

Then the GOP can blame the whole thing on the Dems.

You guys are correct. by the time Obamacare fails massively, the debt will have forced the US into default and there wont be anybody left to pay.
The problem with the commie socialist way is that soner or later they will run out of other people's money to spend.

So House and Senate leaders met with the President yesterday. It was reported that "Each party said the other party wouldn't compromise."

However, the President has publicly said that he won't negotiate. And the house has changed their position since the Cruz "filibuster" and sent different bills to the Senate where they aren't picked up by Reid even though he has said he'd put them to vote.

So who won't compromise?
