cannot delete attachments if thread is closed.

I was clearing out my attachment folder when I noticed that if I had posted one on a thread, and that thread was closed, I am unable to delete the attachment from my folder.

Is there any way around this?

We finally figured this one out a few months ago. Nope, you will have to get a mod to remove the pic out of the thread. As soon as they do that it boots it off your attachment profile.

It would probably be best to PM your favorite mod (or me) with the links to the threads and the post # within where these pics are located. Makes it a bit easier than clogging up the RTM queue, and the resulting notifications to the entire staff.

I personally recommend using outside hosting for pictures so you can delete them when You want to always..

I dont used the eccie attachment for my personal pictures anyways..
