I've heard it pronounced 'essie' 'exxie' and 'ekkie' depending on what part of the country one hails from... since its an acronym, I highly doubt it matters... But if you want to get technical I'd say 'ekkie' simply because both of the 'c' words involved begin with a hard C...

Thank you all for the info.I'm going to pronounce ECCIE as Icky.In the past i always spelled it out,when someone asked where i heard about them,and such.

I say E-C or e-see. I've never figured out where the K in the pronunciation came from.
