I did a lot of BB 20 years ago. Never had an issue. With today's DNA test it will be fairly easy to find you.
Here in CA, we caught the Golden State Killer by PD uploading DNA collected at crime scenes into one of those spit in the cup and creating a fake profile.
Then its just a matter of elimination.
