Drug dealers vs Prostitution. A RANT by Bianca Page

When humans came about in the cenozoic era sex has been a natural, life sustaining action. Then when the currency and the barter method started, so did prostitution. (yes people, its that old). All of a sudden organized religion popped up, and the suppression of women and sex was in full swing. The chruch and society deemed sex evil, and women submissive. So prostitution and sexually, open women were considered demonic. Women in the profession are portrayed as ignorant, addicted, and skanky. They are also portrayed as bad mothers, victims of circumstance, and codependent on a pimp that does all the thinking. I guess women cant figure anything out with out a man in charge. We are also the villain in media. Men who see prostitutes are considered perverts. Yes I understand there are many women who fit under this category, but there are so many different types of women in this world I think its a shame they only show the negative side of it.

As for drugs, Alcohol has been around probably just as long as prostitution. In folklore you always hear of the village or town drunkard. Since alcohol was introduction in the world it has ruined more people lives than prostitution and controlled substances combined. However people are more embarrassed admitting they've seen a prostitute than they are admitting they got drunk and had a one nite stand w/ a nameless person. Yes, there were native tribes that did hallucinogens as a part of there culture. Its been in the past 400 years drugs started to become well know in history there were opium houses and speed. The last century though drugs have exploded into a mainstream way of life. Going to a posh rehab has almost become a badge of honor in the past 20 years. Drugs are a staple of USA today. Drug dealers are portrayed as unsung heros in some movies. Drug dealers turned rap stars are revered and looked up too. If you talk to middle class suburbia, they consider drugs more of a reality than sex. If you have the masses compare drug dealing to prostitution, they are more accepting of their children experimenting or selling drugs as opposed to having paid consensual sex.

So here are some truths:

1) If a man with charged with felony drug trafficking and a women with a lesser charge of prostitution were competing for the same job, because of the double standard the drug dealer would get it.

2) Drug Dealers have killed, murdered, and destroyed more lives than the field of prostitution could ever dream of. Yet they are still the lesser evil between the two.

3) We voted a man as president that was known to do coke, but tried to impeach a president for getting his cock sucked in the oval office.

4) Humans are genetically linked to every living animal in the world yet we are the only ones with sex and nudity hang ups.

5) Ronald Regan went to see "the god father" one of the most violent movies of its time. When asked if he liked it, he said "yes", but the only part of the movie he was disturbed by was when Al Pacino's new bride revealed her breast on their wedding night.

Thank you everyone have a good day.
WOW. Very well said. We certainly live in a messed up, screwed up, backwards world. Doing the most natural thing in the world is against the law? If it wasn't for sex none of us would be here. It's stupid, you can give it away for free but you can't sell it. More specific rules for prostitution need to be in place.

1. You can sell sex, as long as you are over 18
2. You can sell sex, as long as you do not have HIV
3. You can sell sex, as long as no one is forcing you into it (laws against trafficking, pimping would have to be established)
4. You can sell sex, as long as you do not advertise in public streets and you keep your bizness behind closed doors
5. You can sell sex, as long as your not violent, scamming, stealing or disturbing the peace

My point is, so long as there are 2 consenting adults willing to partake in sex for money, where is the crime? I think prostitution ought to be legal, but with ground rules like the examples above.

I mean alcohol is legal. As long as you are over 21 you can purchase and consume alcohol. But you can't drink and drive if your BAC is over 0.5 (or whatever). I understand, alcohol still creates deaths, even with these rules. Yet alcohol is legal and prostitution isn't. It's not like a man is going to drive home and kill someone because he just finished seeing a provider, the way that a drunk driver would after leaving a bar. Prostitution is the less of most evils yet it remails illegal. I do not understand the justification in any of this; the thought process.

I am not saying the woman is less deserving but if I was an employer and a drug dealer was applying for the same job a woman who had a past of being an escort (both have records to prove it) I would turn HIM Away and would discuss her past with her so that we had a very solid understanding.

#2 - if they are caught and its proven they have killed then they are not getting a job anywhere..

As for the President that did coke, and the other one that got his winky sucked in the oval office.... it happens...... I mean come on.. .what president has not done the first lady on the Resolute Desk that the President sits behind? Or did some hanky panky with a mistress in one of the many rooms that place has... The Secret Service - beside protecting The President and his family, chasing counterfeiters, is also charged with keeping the SECRETS of The President.

Him - he has drug convictions and those are felonies.... yes they deserve a second chance but I have the right not to hire them. Also who is say he does not try to get back into the drug world and use the legit job as a stepping stone?

Her - She has used sex to gain money so if she needs extra $$$ she knows she do some "side jobs" or offer that to the boss for extra $$$. Yes she deserves a clean start and I am willing to give her the job as long as she does not use sex in the office for favors, or get back into that life and use this job as a sustainer.

That being said, if she does, she best keep it away from the job... aka I find out, she is gone.. all her appointments will be on her time. She takes a day off to go to the "doctor" she will need to bring some proof she was AT the doctor.

But between the choices of hiring a former drug dealer or former escort.. I will choose the former escort.

NO-one robs a convenient store for 50 bucks for a piece of tail... tail costs more than that.

The DO rob small stores and people so they can get their next fix
Wake up, Whats even more awesome is when they show school kids, videos of fish and lions mating (not together) and tell them thats "life science". You show them a porn video and they are supposed to be horrified for life, because its evil and yucky.
You are right, I guess what I mean is in the working class world. Especially if a woman is doing the hiring. When I was younger I worked at a salon and the had the same scenario happen. There application was about the same but since my manager was a caddy woman she chose a girl with an assault charge over the girl with the solicitation charge. I do agree with you though on women using sex in the work place

Then tell the kids that this is a beautiful thing and its how kids are conceived, unless the sperm is deposited on her like in the movie or she swallows. And that by NO MEANS is that a form of BC.

but at least teach them CORRECTLY.. letting them find out on their own tends to lead to more problems.

Puritans- The USA was created by small Puritan communities. It seems to still be a part of our society today. It's just something society in America can't seem to shake.

I can only state that I would rather the teenage boys in my family save their money and see a provider rather than go buy drugs. A good provider would see to it that they were of age, that they were not in a situation where gangs and guns were a part of every day life. And yes, even teach them what to do to please and keep a future wife happy.

A drug dealer cannot! Drugs will destroy their lives in one fashion or another, that is just a fact. A GOOD provider will be drama free and encourage them to continue to go to school, as some are mothers themselves, and see that he will be a good earner and someone he could go to with problems provided he pay for her time, much like a therapist. Some of you guys may think I give providers too much credit, however my young cousin started seeing a provider at age 20 and still sees her now at age 27. He has provided for her in her times of need and they have a good friendly relationship.

Yes, he still pays her. She is 12 years his senior. Sh encouraged him to finish school and gave him good advice. My family only figured it out once he started paying her with checks and his mother researched her and found her out. She was pissed for a minute and then gave it some long thought and did not say anything.

I DO NOT know of any drug dealer that would do that.

Here is a thought, ur not gonna get prostitution leagalize, but how about lowering the charge to a ticket offense? If you only had to worry about a ticket and not going to jail, couldn't you expand your cliental? Somewhat lower Ur screening process? Even if the fine was $1000, you could chalk it up to "cost of doing business." The "laws" or "society" get their tax and u stay out of jail. A happy medium, maybe?

Just come to London Bianca....where being a hooker is about as common as being a cab driver , people are much more open minded here, there's no screening, and no cops popping up at your flat.

Sofia, why is your family going through a grown man's checkbook? And how would a name on a check... Oh never mind. Wouldn't get a straight answer anyway.
