Tallahassee

Hi ladies and gentlemen. I am venturing out to unfamiliar territory and looking for tips/suggestions on the best areas to stay in Tallahassee.

Downtown would be the nicest area, but it's session so the hotel prices may be higher than usual. Avoid North Monroe. There's a hilton garden on Blair Stone that is nice and kind of centrally located.

Thomasville road and i10 exit has some decent hotels but yes avoid Monroe and i10 area
