why do providers post om BP

i mean no respect but why do providers continue to post on BP when that seems to leave them more prone to getting busted?
Personally, I average anywhere between 2-5 gentlemen a week with only advertising on Eccie. I do not need anymore then that, so I would never tempt fate and post on BP. However, if i had to fully support myself with this income, I can not honestly say what I would do.
BP is for sure a more risky way to go. There are some really great ladies that post on there. I wish them all the best of luck!
I don't know this for sure, but my guess is that whether or not legitimate providers post on BP is somewhat of a regional practice. I've been a couple of places where the frequent posters on ECCIE were also regular posters on BP. In other places, it is not so ingrained, and it is the rare legitimate provider who posts on BP.

So, IMHO, despite the danger, it is the habit (or business model) that drives the practice.

Because BP is a cheap form of advertising that provides the biggest bang for the bucks. Look at it this way, BP is the new version of streetwalkers. I'm not trying to offend the high quality providers who do use BP, but think about it this way. The risk is the same as hooking on the street. A street girl doesn't know if it is a cop behind the wheel. In the same light, a BP girl doesn't know if it is LE answering her ad. Also, if she is savvy enough to screen, then BP is tons less riskier than being a streetwalker.

I get more appointment requests in a day from advertising on BP then I do in a month directly from this site. I say directly because a lot of the gentlemen that contact me through BP are either on here or another reputable site such as escorts or P411; I only see gentlemen from BP that are on one of these sites.
I have used backpage an also cl. CL was an excellent site one of the first sits I had used along with avenue-x. Some advertise there because the dont know of other sites. You get more calls from there and most of the people on backpage are members of other sites like these so you can still verify them

Charles pretty much nailed it - it's a regional thing. Knowing where to advertise to your target market is Business 201. In my region - that's BP.

In any case, how a sister runs her business is...her business.
i apologize i meant to say.."no disrespect" sometimes my mind works faster than my typing...and i was just asking not judging....

its easy...volume providers, providers with pimps, and providers that do not know any better.

It just depends on the specific market. Some markets are more BP friendly, others not so much.
They get AOT more biz from BP than here. As long as they screen well, they will be fine.

Because the traffic to BP blows nearly everyone out of the water.

I ran a comparison on compete.com and here are some traffic stats for you:

Backpage.com averages 2,733,685 unique visitors yearly.

Eccie averages 74,292 unique visitors yearly.

Eros averages 267,291 unique visitors yearly.

The smart ladies will use tools like compete.com to determine where they spend their precious time putting out ads.

And screening is a given.
never heard of compete.com...thanks will check it out...
