I would imagine if anyone here has seeked their services, they would not still be here. This was the first for me ever hearing of them, I am sorry you had a bad experience with this organization.

I'm sorry to hear that.

Over the years, I have run into a couple ladies that wanted to get out of this business, but they seemed to need some help. So, I have told a couple ladies about them.

I would be interested in hearing about your experience, as I'd like to know if I should be giving them the big thumbs down.
I do have a comment about them , though i am not a lady i have a friend that was going this year and the group is a joke!!!! Not what they pretend to be and collecting alot of government grants , donations and do nothing to help the ladies find work to stay out of the biz. HAve to beg for everything and not good results. The really should be exposed for collecting government funds and making ladies beg for even toilet paper. the ladies beg for even food and do not get help. How are they suppose to stay out of the biz if the place does not help like they are pretending to the public they do, their paycheck comes first of course .

Heather,

If you are trying to get out of being a provider... It is possible, but is going to take some work on your part.

Most ladies seem to be providers, as they cannot make the money elsewhere that they need for their family. So, the first thing to do, is to look at your spending, and determine if those are things you need, or things you want. Brand name clothes, purses, fancy cell phones, etc, are nice, but not "need" items. Make sure you are not pushing yourself into being a provider to support a shopping habit. It seems like a boring exercise, and it is a bit, but take time to write down what you spend money on each month, so you can come up with a budget.

If this doesn't get you to where you need to be, the next thing to examine is your job skills. The economy is tough right now, so you need to have good skills to win out over other possible hires. If you have a college degree, great. Get out there and look at the Texas Workforce Commission website for job openings. Other websites like Monster. If you don't have a degree, even taking some classes and working toward a degree will be viewed very positively by employers. Just make sure to get a degree in a worthwhile area. A degree as a world history major is likely not going to make you really marketable. A degree as a Nurse, Teacher, Administrative Assistant is much more marketable. Be sure to take the time to talk with someone at the college about what salary range a graduate in your field of study would expect to make in the jobforce upon graduation.

This may take a while. But even if you continue to provide while working to move away from being a provider, you may feel better about yourself. Sometimes just having a plan, and knowing you are working toward it will make you feel better about yourself.

I'm sure there are plenty of people willing to help you here. I would much prefer that any lady here be here because she wants to be, not because she feels she must be.

OMG... my point exactly, I thought it was just me and the ladies I knew there, in this program and out of the program, They push you to get disability or they kick u out!!! Glad I'm NOT the only one!!!!!!!! ___ This program was a total joke with NO jobs leads, NO help with school funding, That is what I was seeking help with, The class I wanted to take was simple, a CNA class, cost $575.00, they would not pay for it!! I had to beg for tampons, toilet, paper, food, gas ect....((never got the gas cards or food!!)) NO help with school clothes except $100 gift card for 1 child, that will NOT buy all he needs for school 5 pants 6 shirts= 130.00(uniforms) where do shoes, socks & under shirts, under wear, come from? I also had to beg for 2 weeks for laundry money, they gave me 22 dollars to wash about 10 loads of clothes and a small box of laundry soap, I got to was half of them!!....Have they been to a laundry mat lately? Its like 3-4 per washer!!(double loads) I have 3 boys(2 of them are 16 & 17, plus a 6 year old, that live at home, One 4 roll pack of toilet paper, to last a week, really, where can they do that at!! They wanted me at every meeting on Wednesday, NO gas money NO bus pass, How was I suppose to do that? I had a JOB, at a animal clinic, I was suppose to start on the first of the month, I told my advocate at NFNL about it.... SHE CALLED them, and the owner called and said he would not be interested in hiring me, he thought I was on probation or in some kind of trouble, because this advocate was calling them, about me!!(Cost me a job, I really wanted & needed) The accused me of still working in the escort business, when I WAS NOT, They Could not prove it to me, That I was working!!! BECAUSE I WAS NOT WORKING, even deleted my Eccie account completely!!!They said a little birdie told them!!(hear say) This program stressed me to the max!! I had to worry about searching for other places first to pay my rent, before they would do it, as a last resort, but they did pay it!!!! Then another one of my friends that tried the program said that her counsler /advocate warned her of demons in her car, and she did not know how to get them out!!! This are the people they hire to help us(OMG) seriously They will NOT accept... ladies who are manic depressive into the program they are NOT hire able as they say, BUT this advocate is just that, and will admit it, the wont accept us in the program, but they will hire a lady that is to help us(WHERE do they do that at)(omg) This place is so backwards!! THEY need new plans NEW management!!! PLEASE!! They get too much money donated to them for ladies to deal with this humiliation, I would rater stand on a corner and beg for money, than to be look down on by these people!! They are awful, and use GOD as a way out, they will not ever listen to you, if they think you are wrong!! They do NOT offer as much support as they claim ... and they take you to the bottom, and kick you out, I could go on & on, but I think I have said enough!! They gave my girl friend 409 to wash her clothes with.... Who would do that???? Its awfullllllllll in this program!!!! BAD!!!! I wasted 3 months there!! and now I am so gar behind, I can NOT even catch up!!!!! Please any other stories like mine...................tell me about it, we are going to expose them soon!!! Some kind of way!!! Thanks Heather!!!!! also why do they think people who get disability are not able to work!!!! I know I can P/T up to 26 hours a week, so why am I NOT hire able to them.... to me its discrimination .... But you cant do anything, they make you sign a paper, not to sue them, once the kick you out!!!! BUT something needs to be done, they are a fraud to me and many other ladies!!!!

I've been saving a little here and there, but its hard with kids, when it so slow.... to get out and go to school ect...then search for work!!!! I try but its hard, I'm working on it slowly, If I just had someone to pay for my school I would be ok!!!Its hard for me to spare almost $600 in one month to pay for it!! I have searched all over for funding!! MONEY is so tight in this business right now, its so slow, even some of the best providers are searching for clients!!! I will keep pushing & a blessing will come my way!!! Thanks for your advice!!!!
IMO indeed.com is better than Monster.
I've never heard of this group but now I know to stay away if I ever change my mind about being in the biz. Thanks for the heads up HeatherTheMilf!
