If someone is using a keylogger on a computer, will using "Private Browsing" mode thwart the keylogger.
Thanks,
AM Woody
To my knowledge, most keyloggers run independently and are not associated with the web browser itself. Originally Posted by ShmaftyThat is correct. More sophsticated spying programs (such as Spector Pro) can also be set up to periodically take screen shots of whatever is on your screen, and send them to someone (probably the person who installed the program...) via e-mail.

Err with caution my brother!
So basically, nothing you do in your browser (private browsing, any browser settings, etc.) will have any effect on a key logging program. Originally Posted by laserface
