So how does bitcoin work?

Good reason to be a verified provider but I used to use bp when I started out. I wonder if this will include other sites with adult content as well in the future.

Why can't you use visa gift card or something like that? Buy here pay here kind of thingy...

Anything with a visa, mc. or am express logo will no longer be used since those companies are not accepting transactions from BP. The gift cards have those logos.

I am wondering if google pay might be an option eventually, but there is no anonymity, it is attached to a bank account.

I put a balance from my Visa on backpage yesterday, and it worked. But I tried to load a brand new MasterCard gift card, from the grocery store, and they wouldn't take it.

I DO think that some cards are being accepted. Maybe they're accepting actual bank cards? I know that Chase Bank quit allowing for backpage ads several months ago.

This is bothersome. However, HAVING to use bitcoin, well ... there has to be a way around that. Bitcoin is just another way for the collective "us" to get screwed.

Other than Eccie what is another site like BP in this area? I am sure one will pop up soon, hopefully at least.

Cityvibe and Adultsearch are similar to BP.

Dorthy I looked at the site for netspend, and says it is a visa or mastercard prepaid. I think using a credit card will be out when posting bp ads, unless there is a card made without those 3 companies and bp begins using it.

I read a post somewhere that said Bank cards w/Visa and Mastercard logos are still going thru it's just prepaid ones that won't. I don't know, but that's what I saw.

I agree Dorthy. I can see going after pimps who are messing with those that are not of legal age, but it is making it harder on the rest of us who would never do that sort of thing.

Maybe we need a class action sent to the Supreme Court. Force states to decriminalize and legalize prostitution and stop the wasting time and taxpayers money busting adults and focus on going after predators and traffickers only.

This is all good to know, because I have been reluctant to use my credit card for advertisement. I have been thinking of using a credit card I deposit money on. Hmmmm, seriously considering not advertising and keeping the day job. ;-) lol
