Driver service/barter

So, I’m an uber/lyft driver and was wondering if any providers would be interested in working out a flat rate or maybe even barter for rides to outcalls. I’m all over Austin day and night. Let me know your thoughts, as I really don’t know where this could go. But hit me up if you’re interested and we could work on some details.

As an Uber/Lyft driver you've determined YOUR time to be worth less than minimum wage and want to barter?

Good Luck

As if every other lyft/uber driver isn’t trying to run that scam. lol
Ever read the papers to see how many complaints of predatory uber drivers are out there?

I work Uber, and just FYI, Whispers, it makes about $15/hour, but to your point, I damn sure don't use it as a barter for sex. Absolutely no fair trade comparison as you and LK point out. However, I have made my lady acquaintances in this hobby aware as I would enjoy escorting them around if they require "taxi" services.

I'm not sure what the legal statues say but I would fathom a guess that the driver would be looking at a state jail felony at the minimum vs a misdemeanor for the provider. Hope you know what you're getting into.

There was a girl in West West Texas who was caught up in a sting along with the driver. The girl got probation and fines to pay while the driver is charged with a felony for being the driver. The girl also lost custody and child support for her daughter to the daughter's father.

As pointed out by Agent220 in post #11, you can get in a lot of trouble for misusing one's driver privy. Plus Uber has come out with a bunch of policies that specifically address driver behavior regarding inappropriate comments, unwanted sexual advances, etc. It wouldn't take much to get one's Uber driving privileges revoked these days, and I imagine immediately following, criminal or civil prosecution from the offended party. Just FYI, I'd would not try to barter driving for services were I you. I inform the girls I drive, and hopefully they'll get me if the need a ride, but it's just a ride like any other for which they would pay through the app.

CryptK.; It is before expenses. I was just trying to state it is easy and quick money, but it sure as Hell is not big money to Whispers' point. And surely not near enough to use to bargain/barter with the many lovely ladies who participate in our hobby for services in my humble opinion.

I have gone to it just to add revenue to my household income because I will be retiring, soon, and salaries at my household will fall by 60 - 70%. As it is a losing proposition when one starts adding back in expenses of wear and tear on the vehicle, it definitely gets worse. But I see it as a situation where the revenue generation causes me to lose less money than not having that source of income, so I come out losing less overall. The upside of it is sometimes one gets great and interesting passengers. I had 3 girls I picked up one day that caused me to almost spray my shorts without even touching myself. They were hotties and dressed out very sexily!

Hope that explains/justifies my reasons for driving a little better.
