My fellow hobbyist are y'all familiar with this? I was having a "there's no such thing as privacy" conversation with a friend. I Googled my real name and Linkedin gave me up. So I googled my varias handles . No problems there because a boomvang is an actually line and pulley system on a sailboat, I did have to change my handle on ASPD long ago, because if you googled it, there were my ASPD post as well as a motorcycle forum with my real information. But when I googled the email address I use for here and P411, I learned I was an escort abuser. No indication of the offense, who or when I offended. But there was my hobby email and my real phone number and two names of men that aren't me. You should visit it and read what it takes to get your name off the list. It's nuts. I am fairly sure I know who and why it was posted. BUT YOU'LL NEVER GET ME TO TELL!! If I am correct it was an alcohol induced malfunction on my part. Mea Culpa. But it was with someone I had never actually met and what it boils down too (I think), I sent some very rude emails via ECCIE or P411 and was a NCNS. I have since PAID restitution to who I think is behind this, and I mean PAID without a session being included. I am a soft hearted, obviously soft headed individual that should stay off the computer and phone after a few cocktails. I have been reformed. If you have ever written a negative review you probably ought to give it a look, I just want to say one last thing "I'M FUCKING SORRY"

Addendum: Since I made this post I have spoken to the forever un-named provider I thought put it there. She says she didn't and I believe her. Which makes it even worse. It's one thing to suffer the consequence of someone that will tell you their pissed. It's worse to have no idea who or how you pissed someone off bad enough to label you an escort abuser and put your real life info on the site. Shit!! Still sorry, but now I'm pissed.

Boom...the issue of real info being connected is a serious matter. Discretion is THE #1 issue in the hobby.

Whenever we (providers OR hobbyists) share information, we risk it being used by the other party is stupid vengeance sites like this. Any supposed "protection" that is being offered by their "honesty" is outweighed by the fact that the posters have zero proof, or even reputation at stake. They are the internet equivalent of people that write graffiti on bathroom walls.

Anyone reputable in the industry would never do that. BUT...we are surrounded by those that are not reputable and would gladly out someone over any slight, real or perceived.

Everyone: choose carefully who you share ANY info in the hobby with. Protect yourself. Because those that would harm are everywhere around you. Research. Take your due diligence. Make smart choices and look at the reputations of the people you hobby with. It's worth every minute you spend.

I hope you have your real info cleared up, Boom.

one more comment and I am going to let this die I hope. My real life info is available to anyone that wants to look for it. I have NEVER written a negative review in my life. I wrote a not a "no" and not a "yes" one a few months ago. The provider let me know that she had seen the BCD portion of the review a few days later. I will never write another review, I don't care if I have a religious experience. I will also not ever see any provider that writes a rebuttal of a review or any other provider that jumps on the bandwagon. The providers have their powder room that doesn't seem to be very well moderated. I've never been in there, I've never seen anything that came from there nada. I have been told that emails of mine not from ECCIE have been copied and pasted in there. I thought that was against the rules. I know what kind of guy I am. I've never shorted anyone, I've never threatened or stalked anyone. If I piss of some providers by saying this, my response is I would never out anyone no matter how pissed off I am. From what I have learned "time waster" was my infraction. If you're mad at me oh well. I guess we won't be seeing each other.
I agree, but how do you get screened without offereing such information?

Services like P411 can offer some verification with a one-time check of your info, and you bulid up reputation and "oks" on there.

References are also a perfectly accepted way of being screened, and don't involve sharing personal information.

IOW: at the start, you may have to prove who you are in the real world. After you get some credibility, you should be protecting that info.

That being said...simply giving screening info exposes some things to a nefarious person. Think about a provider who, once she's agreed to see a gent, has to give her location of an incall. She's placing trust in that client to be discreet, to be sane and safe. Every time a provider opens the door to a new client (and sometimes a repeat one) she is placing herself at risk.

Both sides have to protect themselves. This is why reputation and discretion are so important in the hobby.
+1
I agree personal information is a huge thing in this bussiness. I have shared a bit about my personal life here as far as my schooling and profession choice but alot of that comes from it being something that is totally centered around women and I happen to offer my services to some providers. I am always careful about what providers i decide to take on as paitients because i know that depending on the person it could do some serious harm to my personal life.

I prefer to see gents who have be around for a while. I want to see posting to see if we would even enjoy the time together, I want to see reviews to see if what i offer is going to satisfiy the needs of that client overall, I want to see if DRAMA follows the client around, but most of all I want to talk to a couple of ladies that you have visited with. All of this information combine lets me know if i want to see you or not.

To the OP you "seem" (i say seem becuase i dont believe we have met) like a very nice guy who is willing to admit when he is wrong or has done something to hurt someone so I will say this be safe with who you choose to see and provide your information to. GOOD LUCK
I agree 100%
