Tips for staying safe in the hobby...

To clarify, I am a casual when it come to the hobby... Strip clubs an an occasional provider appointment ... Not near as active as some on here, but active enough...

There are always posts on ECCIE about LE activity, stings / busts, SMU Law Professors getting in trouble, etc. Then you have pimps, thieves, etc.

Let's keep this thread about avoiding trouble with The Man / LE...

I know a few of the basics:

- Hobby Phone
- Read reviews of Providers
- Read posts by Providers
- Etc...

What is your advice to avoid trouble?

Also, I was sending PMs to a Provider (and did recently), but she stopped posting, has no ads or reviews in the last 30 days - which is a different pattern for her... She still responds to PMs and said to text her. To schedule an appointment (her usual number). Is it possible for a Provider to get pinched and have LE take over her account?

With all the crime going on, I can't understand why LE puts out the time and effort to snare a couple having fun in bed.

Now...fun on a park bench, on the hood of a Chevy in a mall parking lot, courthouse steps, 10th row of a Mavs game...well, I can see their concern there.

Reviews, reviews, reviews well established providers ( the good ones will always be checking there ads etc.)

I've only seen girls with a presence on here and/or P411. They would also have to have some reviews that are legitimate. I also find a few that I like and stay in that circle so I'm not usually seeing too many new faces.

I would never see somebody that's only on backpage (or really even some other website).
If they aren't here or P411 then I probably don't even know they exist.
I can find what I need on these two sites so I don't have a need to go somewhere I feel poses a higher risk.

However...if you are seeing somebody that you're not 100% sure about. Don't mention anything illegal. Like the video of that preacher that got caught in the sting. Was it really necessary for him to say he "wanted head"? No shit you wanted head..you're with an escort so why even say that?
He might still get arrested but if he's on tape and never mentions anything illegal it's going to be difficult to prosecute. I wonder what would have happened if he never mentioned anything illegal and just got naked and got on the bed. That would have been pretty damn funny. Or just ask her to get naked and model for him. I don't think nude modeling is illegal.
Anyway if you're not 100% sure don't mention money or a sex act or any illegal act.

get involved in discussions and let people know a little about you

research the gal you wanna see and if you want to then write some of the guys who have reviewed her for more advice

leave personal stuff in the car when going to a session

hobby phone purchased with cash and renewed with cash annually

read reviews....read reviews....read reviews.....

as for me, I stick with the mature ladies; may youngers are being pimped or have company around

Incall important ... nice hotel; prefer the larger ones that have capability to host conferences. More of a chance you blend in with a crowd. If a home, nice secure neighborhood.

No first time visits to an incall at night. I tend to hobby daylight hours for this reason.

stay away from motels / street walkers to easy for the coppers to sting

Be careful even with a hobby phone. Because most girls wont accept block calls and save your number in their phone. Le if or when the arrest these girls are sending out text and in some cases calling numbers in their phone and setting up stings. You think it is safe because it is coming from someone you know. Make sure you dont say or text anything even on a hobby phone that they may be able to use against you.
