Why do AMP's not get busted more often?

imo, the DA really really REALLY wants to make this whole thing go away for several likely reasons:

1) Kraft was likely the biggest fish caught, but many more fishes -- some of them important in the community -- are also caught in the net.

2) the DA needs to stand for reelection sooner or later.

3) one suspects that his opponent, no matter who stands for election, will receive a huge excess of contributions.

4) the county/state need to make this affair very old news for more than just tourism reasons.

5) the reality is that state and federal lawmakers (and do-gooders, preachers and other religious "leaders") never really want the P to disappear.

Because if the P is gone, that is one hella political football that can never be used by the moralists and others seeking support for their pov's.

A massage is not illegal; getting naked on a massage table is not illegal, being alone in a room with a massage therapist is not illegal. If a light goes on, the girl puts a robe on, you just lay there; how do you prove sex for money which is illegal? There is no money, and you are not having sex. A massage parlor bust is difficult.
