right the right girl is not on top showing on the main page, only when u click on it. and mia 's ad stayed on top till monday morning.

not mention when we placed the ads for 2 weeks in a row at 9 pm the little wheel just keeps spinning forever and it never resolved and goes to the ad and shows who was last at 9pm. i entered my ad at 9:00 and Mia's ad ( from 8:58) stayed showing on the main page till monday morning after 10 am then the wrong girls ad is showing as the last ad on the main page.

I'll report it to the site admins. Nothing us mere moderators can do about those types of things.

mmmm if I was sexilexi, I would be pissed. still messed up?
ztonk... its still loading really slow, thats why mine was late tonight.

thank you!
ztonk...
Its seems to only happen on weekend lineup. When you submit the new thread, it still goes to an error page and doesn't show up for a while (sometimes for a long time, on the front page). Did any of that make sense?

it has been happening at least 3 weeks for sure, if not longer. I am afraid to post at 9 pm because it never goes thru in a timely manner. Now sure why but it is definitely broken.

I'm not sure what to tell you. They are always tweaking the system and it does seem to run slow at times. There are a lot of ladies posting near 9pm in the Central Time zone.

Thank you, ztonk

I would be curious when backups of the database are run. Sunday evening is considered a good time for off hour backups for corporate America, but here in the rush to get that prized 21:00:59 timestamp... it is just the opposite.

another thought that might help with posting speed depending on what database is used (I doubt they are paying for an oracle license) is to purge old ads say everything over 6 months? I mean really are weekend lineup ads from 2010 helpful to anyone?

This could cause a locking condition where the backup process locks the entire post table and prevents new rows from being entered. InnoDB offers row-level locking so it helps in circumstances like these.

All the techno-babble aside, I agree. Clearing out very old posts does seem like a good idea.
