Actually, they were good. I couldn't open the link but remember this. Leno had them sing breaks with the band on the show, too, like he does with the 'Idol' contestants.

There is a decent chance that is was staged. The woman had been on that segment a while back and they are both actors. When they were brought on the show they only gave their part time jobs and didnt say they were actors. The Smoking Gun picked up on it first.
So it is possible that it was real, but it for several reasons it is very fishy. If I were a betting man I would say it was staged by someone.
