it's easy to spot these nuevo-Vietnamese places.. they make errors like this, without a clue to its broader meaning.. the food is geared for Americans, barely resembles anything Vietnamese..

at least they didn't have "Saigon" in their name..

they still don't realize that Banh Mi means (or implies) "sandwich".. one doesn't say "Banh Mi sandwich"..

sort of like saying "the Rio Grande river"..
"Queso Cheese" or "Cheese Queso"

Da Lat is among the worst of its kind.. Vietnamese people don't eat there

I am not Viet so did not grow up eating authentic Viet food but I like the place and food and nextdoor to the liquor store and come tacos across the . It's only rock & roll but I like it

We took a laundry bag full of NVA belt buckles down to the airbase in Tan Son Nhut. They were brass with the red star. We sold over 200 for $75/ea in less than thirty minutes. That night I had a fondness for that red star.
