For those of you who are keeping up with the progress of the Feature Documentary American Courtesans, here is an update including distribution details!

We have been the Official Selection of 10 different film festivals around the world, from Paris to Jakarta, and Rome to Costa Rica... American Courtesans has won awards for "Best Edit", "Best Documentary", "Award of Excellence", and our latest and so very important award... "Audience Choice" for best film, at the San Francisco SexWorker's Film and Arts Festival. Which I find to be so very empowering to be held so highly in a group of my peers.

We have been endorsed and have been working with C.O.Y.O.T.E, S.W.O.P, The Red Umbrella Project, and a few more organizations and are so very grateful for their support.

We have also received a great distribution deal and will be rolling out on July 12, 2013 on some venues and Oct. 1, 2013 on others with more to be announce. Here is where you can expect to find us:

July 12:

Comcast - Xfinity - Time Warner Cable - BrightenHouse Networks - Cox Cable - Itunes - Google Play - YouTube - PlayStation - Vudu - Amazon Video - Viewster - Cinema Now

Oct. 1

Charter On-Demand - At&t Universe - Verizon Fios - Mediacom - InSight - RCN - Optimum Bresnum - Dish Network - Armstrong Cable - Rogers On Demand (Canada) - Shaw (Canada) - EastLink TV (Canada) - Cogeco (Canada)

I can't tell you how many of you in the industry and those who are supporters, were an inspiration for this film and I just wanted to tell you - You Rock...

Congratulations, no doubt it is extremely gratifying when something so personal and that you've put so much into gains acceptance and recognition.

But you should tell your marketing person that the word "gorilla" in the quote on the poster should really be spelled "guerilla" - unless of course the film really was made by a large, hairy ape.
Congratulations Kristen, that must be a wonderful feeling and inspiring to many!
Wishing you the best with this and future ventures -

Great job, Kristen. I can't wait to see the finished product.
Wow ...it's beautiful and refreshing to see such a honest, candid portrayal
