Mortuary School in Arkansas

At the risk of sounding like a total psychopath, since my Pappy's funeral, I have become completely fascinated with the embalming process and the funeral industry in general. I don't personally know of anyone in the industry and was curious if anyone here might have any input on whether the online mortuary science/funeral directors program from U of A at Hope Texarkana or ASU Mountain Home is better.

She is very informative, But I do remember her saying how hard it was getting a internship.

I love her! Her recreation of a Victorian funeral was amazing. It was surprising when she was asked if she prefers the suture or needle injector gun method of closing the decedents' mouths and she said her funeral home tends to do a less invasive old school method of tying a ribbon around the head to keep the mouth shut.

Something tells me you could find a apprenticeship extremely easy, just make sure you visit them in person to drop off your "resume"
