coming to des Moines

Hey everybody my friend natalie and I are thinking of coming that way around the begining of April we would love some feedback on where to stay and any other helpful advise and we would also like to prebook do u guys do that ?

I hope its ok to post this here, but I'd like advice on areas/places in Des Moines, I want to visit soon too.

Avoid East, Northeast, and airport areas. And consider me interested...

Well my first attempt it seemed like no one wanted to beforehand (had some trying to book same day which didn't work for me) but my 2nd attempt and actual first trip was much different (more than half of my dates were pre-booked before I arrived).
