Trump canceled a rally in Arizona because his campaign was too broke: report

Looks like the grift is either not working any longer, or his supporters are simply brokeback dicks.

Meanwhile, Biden doesn't seem to have any problems making it to Arizona:
"On Wednesday, Biden was in Arizona to announce $8.5 billion going toward a new Intel chip processing plant outside of Phoenix, returning to a state he visited twice in the second half of last year," reported Edward Isaac-Dovere and Kristen Holmes.

This is just the beginning. Maybe the Biden campaign can move into drumpf tower once it's snagged by NY.

Biden campaign calls Trump ‘Broke Don’ after he lags in fundraising

President Biden’s reelection campaign is pouncing on former President Trump’s fundraising numbers, dubbing its political rival “Broke Don” on Thursday.

“Not a Winning Campaign: Broke Don Hides in Basement,” the campaign wrote in an email. “Trump can’t raise money, isn’t campaigning, and is letting convicts and conspiracy theorists run his campaign.”

Election filings made public Wednesday showed Trump’s 2024 campaign brought in $10.9 million last month, while his joint fundraising committee raised nearly $11 million. It has about $42 million in cash on hand.

Meanwhile, Biden’s campaign operation raised roughly $53 million in February, which gave it $155 million in cash on hand entering March.

“We are two weeks into the general election and Donald Trump can’t raise money, is hiding at his country club, and is letting convicts and conspiracy theorists take over his campaign. That is not a winning strategy,” Biden spokesperson Ammar Moussa said.

The campaign mocked Trump and questioned if “trailing your opponent in cash on hand by nearly 4 to 1 and hitting up donors to help cover your own personal debts instead of funding your campaign [is] a winning formula for November?”

It touted that Biden is traveling to every battleground state in March, while Trump held a rally in Ohio and has been at his home in Florida. And it argued that Trump is “bad” at messaging after he suggested that the U.S. look at potential cuts to entitlement programs, which he has since walked back.

The campaign taunted Trump earlier Thursday over his low fundraising numbers, saying that the former president would “fire himself” if he put up these kinds of numbers on “The Apprentice.”

Yeah. Definitely going broke dick. Same thing happened to the KKK when they got sued into near oblivion.

Trump pleads for donations, citing threat of losing Trump Tower, as bond deadline looms
Earlier this week, his lawyers said they had been rejected by 30 bond companies that wouldn't accept real estate as collateral.

As the deadline for Donald Trump to post bond for his $464 million civil fraud judgment inches closer, the debt-laden former president's campaign is fundraising off Trump Tower's fate.

In a text message to supporters on Wednesday, a fundraising committee for Trump cast his financial woes — which stem in large part from his massive legal bills — as a ploy by Democrats, including New York Attorney General Letitia James, to "stifle" his campaign.

"Insane radical Democrat AG Letitia James wants to SEIZE my properties in New York. THIS INCLUDES THE ICONIC TRUMP TOWER!" the message reads, with prompts for donations of $20.24 and upward. “Democrats think this will intimidate me. They think that if they take my cash to stifle my campaign, that I’ll give up! Here’s one thing they don’t know: WE WILL NEVER SURRENDER!”

It's not even clear whether Trump could use money raised in this way to pay the civil judgment. As Reuters points out, "[w]hile federal law prohibits the use of campaign money for personal expenses, Trump has been able to use donor money to pay some of his lawyers’ fees."

Trump is not one to shy away from asking for donations at every possible opportunity, but his latest effort underscores some real concern about his money troubles. Ahead of the March 25 deadline, his lawyers have been scrambling to secure a bond for the full fraud judgment; in a court filing this week, they called it a "practical impossibility" and said that they had already been rejected by 30 surety companies that would not accept real estate as collateral.

Trump’s legal troubles and the financial costs that have come with them loom large over his presidential campaign. He has been paying his legal bills through the Save America PAC, but the group’s spending outpaced the amount it raised last month.

The former president already posted a $91.6 million bond this month to appeal the judgment in the E. Jean Carroll defamation case. Now, with his New York assets at stake, Trump is making a desperate plea to supporters to help bail him out, $20 at a time.

Man. Trump is probably thinking, "fuck Arizona". He is smart enough to know that he is not trying to live in a trailer park around his gullible MAGA cult members. He only wants their votes. He doesn't want to be broke like them. He knows it is time to stick some of that campaign money in and under some mattresses.
But he's rich. He can just self-fund his campaign, right?
The headline in the link is totally miss leading.
.... Blimey! ... Hill/Emerson Poll has Trump +4 in Arizona!

Looks-like He didn't need to rally there...
