Newbie

Hey Everyone,

Just starting in this "hobby." Moved back to Texas and trying new things. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get started in the San Antonio area? I don't know anyone yet and seems like you have to have references or pay for some sort of vetting service like date check. I need some good pointers on how to start and some good references for "newbie friendly" providers. Thanks.
