I didn’t realize it was a special weekend in ABQ the rooms are close too 200 a night but it is what it is.. oh well

Typical. Maybe try doing a little simple research for a change?

I’ll have to checkout the festivities… when I booked the room last month they were 110 but they hiked the prices as soon as I checked in. oh well it is what it is. Im just glad to be enjoying my weekend and the beautiful weather in abq cus it’s pretty quiet in ep lately .

What's the occasion in ABQ? BTW you should get the rate provided when our booked, hotel is not supposed to change rate after booking is confirmed!

Powwow …. I booked it at 110 rate when I checked in it was a lot more.. also the hotel was booked out and they took a deposit when I didn’t check in yet just to reserve the room which has never been done either ! At check in the price looked way off and was even higher, they explained there was powwow in town and so prices go up during certain festivals or special events ….they f everyone trust me there was a line of people trying to get answers. I’m not making this crap up …I didn’t just drive 4 hours for nothing. Im making the best of it , if you wanna call cap go ahead I work out of hotels there deposits and taxes on top are getting ridiculous as well… hotels do what they want and are getting greedy Asf. From what I’m noticing in recent years

Sorry to hear about that, very poor business on the hotel's part. When you book and provide payment assurance (ie credit card to hold reservation) you should get in return the price you agreed to at reservation. Anyway, i hope you continue to come up to ABQ, I plan to visit you sometime when we coincide (as I am spending a lot of time in Houston on business nowadays).
