Pre pay / gift cards?

I've never done anything other than cash and it's always worked. I've been texted both of them and they seem legit but they insist on having $20 cash app or gift card sent. I'll never do it but has anyone had a god experience with sending $ first?

I call bullshit but wanted to double check
Pretty good chance that the person on the other end is just a guy waiting to collect $20 from every sucker who sees his ad.

If you like throwing away Jacksons, give it a go.
Anyone who wants you to send them money via a non-refundable way is a total rip off

But as an aside, everyone I reached out to that said wanted pre-pay, get real shitty with me once I say I only pay in cash
if (s)he gets even 1 person to cashapp $20 for doing nothing but sending a few texts, it's a win for them.
The first link you provided MAY be legit. I still wouldn't send anything electronically. The 2nd link provided is more than likely a scam. The verbiage screams bot
For the second one, I did reach out to them last month. They had another number. Wanted a gift card. Scam
I texted the first one listed. Said she’s near “Pitt university” and small deposit required. Also said to check reviews on erotic monkey. The name she gave me wasn’t found.
Syntax in the replies I received was interesting, so I’ll assume the ad is fake.
I’ve only done cash up front once and it was a well known national touring person with tons of reviews etc.

These people are almost certainly scammers
I always reply - cash, it’s like a gift card you can use anywhere.
Unless you know the person well and have some trust in them.
Never send money in advance.

Even then I would hesitate because people's circumstances change so frequently in the hobby.
If you prepay in this game, you are lighting your money on fire. Think with your big head.
No.

Instead of prepay, I like to just drive to the appointment and toss the money out my car window one bill at a time until I reach the address. Then I park and fiddle with my phone for 30 minutes before turning back to go home.

Same experience.
