Can you limit the number of characters in the Home Page Forum descriptions

such that they are more uniform and don't take forever to wade thru (example: "another realm" is nearly 3x bigger than most). The other option is to change the column length so it is less noticable...or if they really need that much space to describe their forum how about a hyberlink that says 'see more' or something like that
