Provider attitudes... How important?

Anyone else think that a provider's attitude is the SINGLE biggest factor to enjoying an encounter in the hobby? I was thinking about what really mattered to me in a provider and a hobby encounter, and I realized that a good attitude and personality was more important to me than looks, price, even activities.

I understand that the circumstances in which hobbyists meet providers is somewhat unique and artificial, but its still a human encounter. In my "real life," I always enjoy meeting new people, good conversation, and always strive to be friendly and polite in all my personal and business encounters. Looking back, I've realized that the best encounters I've had in the hobby are with providers that seem to genuinely enjoy both the specific encounter as well the hobby in general. I'm ALWAYS on the search for more providers with that kind of attitude. My least favorite encounters have been with providers that seem to be cynical, excessively "businesslike," or jaded.

Are there other hobbyists that feel the same way? How about providers - how important is the attitude and friendliness to you of the hobbyist?

Providers AND hobbyists attitudes make or break a good time

That's the most important factor in repeat business. Seems like every industry is just concerned with making the most money they can in one transaction/encounter. Good business cares about longevity.

I'm not surprised from what I hear so far, I suspected as much. Have any of y'all had an experience where someone's good attitude made a possibly "iffy" encounter turn out pretty great, or a good one even better?

I'll give a quick example, not quite in the hobby, but: I had some friends hire a stripper to come and dance for me at a surprise birthday dinner party. It was, while well intentioned, a little uncomfortable for both me and the dancer, as it was in a mixed crowd of male and female friends in a not terribly "wild" setting.

While we both made the best of it, and she was very good, my favorite part of the encounter was later after she got dressed and was waiting for her ride to pick her up. I brought her over a slice of my birthday cake, sat and chatted with her for a bit. Very nice young lady, she had just started back in school, etc. I could tell she appreciated not being left alone after she was done entertaining. A few of my friends joined the conversation, and a nice chat was had by all. In hindsight, that was my most enjoyable part of the encounter.

Gotta have the right attitude - she can look like a top tiered pornstar - but doesn't do much good- if she's cold and has the "let's get this over with look"

Umm that's a negative sir. Looks, menu, rate, and attitude are all coequal in my world. Your view for some reason reminds me of a crooked pastor fleecing the sheeple. In other words as long as he preaches the gospel in a nice way everything else he does is not that important.

You can kind of tell by the initial phone call/txt how the whole thing will go. If it starts out good it usually ends well. Then between the substances they use and the amount of ppl they meet, they won't remember you second time you get together. Which is understandable but still sucks.

I think it really depends on what your looking for at the time. I usually go GFE personally, and it is extremely important then. But when I'm feeling like PSE or a quickie, I am not as concerned. I am always respectful and friendly and expect the same in return. That being said, I do expect they perform as advertised.

I don't care what their attitude is. Show up, deliver the services I'm paying for, and leave. I'm under no illusions about paying a hooker to fuck having anything to do with real life personal interactions...
