No not really
it's just a press release from silxa that happens to be on yahoo business, about a lawsuit they filed, wasn't written by anyone on yahoo staff, anyone can file one.

So no the escort business isn't getting to be more mainstream, it just business related news,
would be interesting to see how it turns out,
Oh yea go Slixa. I really do like their interface I can understand why someone else wants to copy them. Good job protecting your interface!!
KL
+1 ....As a marketing Company I highly recommend Slixa to my clients... because their interface and design esthetics are superb. Not to mention they have spent millions to advertise the site to the hobbyist!

Well they are definitely trying to let the world know...

posting a press release on business wire goes a long way, that's what they do, it hits all the business newsvines at once
DV...Boy it does go a long way... There were so many of them when I googled the subject!

But I have never seen an adult company step out of the shadows like that and do press releases like this.

I think they must really want their advertisers to know whats happen!

It's simple really.
They get to post a link where otherwise they never could.
ordinarily they wouldn't be about to post a ad on these sites, but by posting a press release with a link to the pdf, supplies easy access to the site, that's why there is a link to Slixa and not to city vibe, if it was a independent source that written the piece with no association to either site they may have posted links to both site, but most likely they wouldn't of posted a link to either site.
They will get more traction attracting more high end clients for their user, then the lawsuit would ever generate.
You see if you followed all the large escort or review sites, Eros, Big Doggie, The Erotic Review etc, all of them had some type of legal/scandal or news expose issues that placed them in the national spotlight, negative publicity.... it always help them grow greatly, I must admit it is the first time a escort board placed their self out their on their own.
In my opinion the main objective, motivation was to get noticed for self growth and to benefit their advertisers bottom line, not the lawsuit or letting their advertiser know what happen.
well played, Cityvibe most likely will be next with their own.
