So you really think it's not about race, eh?

“Democrats are unwavering in our support of equal opportunity for all Americans. That’s why we’ve worked to pass every one of our nation’s Civil Rights laws… On every civil rights issue, Democrats have led the fight.”

BUT...

June 9, 1964
Republicans condemn 14-hour filibuster against 1964 Civil Rights Act by U.S. Senator and former Ku Klux Klansman Robert Byrd (D-WV), who still serves in the Senate

June 10, 1964
Senate Minority Leader Everett Dirksen (R-IL) criticizes Democrat filibuster against 1964 Civil Rights Act, calls on Democrats to stop opposing racial equality. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was introduced and approved by a staggering majority of Republicans in the Senate. The Act was opposed by most southern Democrat senators, several of whom were proud segregationists—one of them being Al Gore Sr. Democrat President Lyndon B. Johnson relied on Illinois Senator Everett Dirksen, the Republican leader from Illinois, to get the Act passed.

August 4, 1965
Senate Republican Leader Everett Dirksen (R-IL) overcomes Democrat attempts to block 1965 Voting Rights Act; 94% of Senate Republicans vote for landmark civil right legislation, while 27% of Democrats oppose. Voting Rights Act of 1965, abolishing literacy tests and other measures devised by Democrats to prevent African-Americans from voting, signed into law; higher percentage of Republicans than Democrats vote in favor

Apologies, but it is a quote: "I'll have those niggers voting Democratic for the next 200 years." -- Lyndon B. Johnson to two governors on Air Force One Ronald Kessler's "Inside The White House" On why he embraced the 1964 Civil Rights Act after voting against anti-lynching and integration laws under Eisenhower.

What's the year? 1964, 1965, 1865 or 2013?

Jesus, comma, you're a dipshit, JDIdiot.

1964:

From Wikipedia: James Strom Thurmond (December 5, 1902 – June 26, 2003) was an American politician who served for 48 years as a United States Senator. He ran for president in 1948 as the States Rights Democratic Party (Dixiecrat) candidate, receiving 2.4% of the popular vote and 39 electoral votes. Thurmond represented South Carolina in the United States Senate from 1954 until 2003, at first as a Democrat and, after 1964, as a Republican. He switched because of his opposition to the 1964 Civil Rights Act, disaffection with the liberalism of the national party, and his support for the conservatism and opposition to the Civil Rights bill of the Republican presidential candidate Senator Barry Goldwater.

Do you even know why Goldwater opposed the bill? I don't think you do. Goldwater was of the opinion that the Constitution already covered voting rights. It just needed a Supreme Court decision to say that when they said "all men" that they meant "all men and women regardless of race). Unlike LBJ, Gore, Byrd who just didn't think blacks should be voting. or going to white schools or drinking at white water fountains or riding in the front of the bus without being the driver.

Face it, the democratic party is the center of racism in this nations history. A hundred and fifty years ago and today. How do you destroy black families? Give them handouts instead of jobs, pay women to have more children instead of husbands, then provide a means to abort those children rather than the means to get out of poverty. Yes, those well meaning democrats just hate black people...and native Americans...and Asian people

Indiana had the largest KKK group in the US.

Nobody really gives a fuck what color the person is that is fucking up this nation.
The refusal by some to accept that they are wqual and thus responsible for their lot in life is not what the Democrats want. They must always maintain that there is a racial divide in order to keep them under their control.

How many white people are there in the black caucus in the House?

You know it may just be about race, just not the way you think it is.

Is JDIdiot off on another one of his racist jags again?

Must make him feel better when he does it online. makes up for his well deserved inferiority complex when he's in a racially and sexually diverse group.

Sigmund Freud would have had a ball with this bunch of frustrated sociopaths!
