Do you trust...?

Fairly new to hobbying, but lately I've noticed a trend of providers "name-dropping" in an attempt to attract hobbyists. It just seems strange that providers would "ensorse" one another and who would really know if they are associated. My question is does it actually work or does it have the opposite affect and deter you?

In the case of your example I would say that they aren't necessarily name dropping but part of the same crew.

I have never seen that on ECCIE ads so it must be exclusive of backpage advertising....and yes it would be a turn off rather than a turn on....on a side note I think backpage rips people off....ijs
