CHL/Permit

Not sure where to post this and haven't seen this topic before. What are the general feelings of having a hobbyist or provider that is legally licensed to carry a handgun going into an appointment?

In this day and age, I'm sure some of us do carry in a legal manner.

Thanks in advance.
From the hobbyist perspective I always carry wherever I go, including BCD. Before getting "comfortable" I let then know I'm licensed to carry and I am carrying. I believe this shows respect to them if they happen to see it and freak out. Only once have I had one insist I not have it on me and put it in my car (their option under the law). So I put in in the car, along with myself and left. If my handgun is not welcome somewhere then I believe I'm not either. This applies to anywhere that lawfully posts (TX statute 30.06) licensed handgun restrictions.

Once open carry becomes legal on Jan. 1, 2016 it will be interesting to see what happens. Whataburger management has already said they will not allow open carry on their premises.
