Road trip stop in Shreveport

Hey all. I will stopping in Shreveport tonight on a road trip from Florida to out west. Any recommendations on where to stay for the night or best places to eat? A little company for dinner might not be too bad either. Thanks for the suggestions!!

Several hotels as you get into Shreveport bossier that are nice. Margaritaville, horseshoe, balleys are your top tier casinos in Shreveport bossier. We have a Ralph and kacoos for your Cajun fix, Texas Roadhouse for your bbq, oyster bar on line for a Mexican, or oyster fix. Drangos at margaritaville, hooters on boardwalk. Stay away monkhouse or West Shreveport.

Stay away monkhouse or West Shreveport

Just curious- why stay away from West Shreveport? When traveling I generally stay at Homewood Suites. I do admit it is kinda creepy being next door to the abandoned Ramada.

LE is more active.
