How many prefer a restaurant with a dress code ?

I am going to side with Slitlikr on this one. I personally feel we have gone way too casual in today's society. I dress in a shirt and tie everyday, and when I want to make it dressier I add a jacket. If I am going to drop $$$ on dinner I am dressing up and expect my date to do so also!

Restaurants that have a dress code are the ones I attend, but even so it appears most don't enforce the dress code.

A dress code means you're fake as fuck and uppity. Your ass came to eat not look at others. The way I see it you want to pay for pussy and then go out to Fancy restaurants trying to act like you're part of some aristocracy by dressing nice while eating steaks. Generally speaking, it is considered bad form to wear a tie without a jacket, unless you're going for the used car salesman, NASA engineer look, or cholo look. If you're going to complain about dress standards, you might want to do a little research.
