Seafoam

I was recently discussing mechanics with one of my regular clients. He had never heard of Seafoam. I was shocked when I heard that. This is someone who owns a lots of cars and other types of equipment such as trucks, tractors, etc. I use it in my car, my boat, and pretty much anything else that has a motor. I have seen it perform absolute miracles.
I don't know what made me think to post this but I was curious to know if anyone else uses it, and what they think.
I know it has a lot of different uses other than being a gas additive.

well that's a bitch, it will not let me copy a ad for seafoam seamless slip darn darn darn

As for Seafoam gas additive I only used it once. It did help stop gas jelling problem on my boat. after that year I had the problem I stored boat tank dry for the winter.

mmmmm can we talk about the seamless slip also. you would look good in one. But then you would look in in a burlap bag errrr just sayin

I was told not to store the boat with an empty tank.
I know it's great for eliminating the problems caused by Ethanol in gas.
I put it into my car, and it improved my MPG's and stopped a minor Transmission issue I was having. When I put it in the last boat I owned, it was like a had an engine rebuild.
Duct tape is another miracle of man I keep handy.

My boat is always stored with a full tank and plenty of stable in fuel. It never has any problems when taking out of storage and its a 78 Wellcraft Suncruiser. Ed

@ Albany Blonde....what kind of boat? and where do you use it? River? Lake? Saratoga/ LG?
I love boats...worked at a local marina for years as a young man, and grew up on LG.
A girl...with a boat...ooooooh, sounds like heaven to me!!

Based upon your showcase- I think either of these examples of Seafoam could work. Just not for your boat or cars engines.

I grew up spending summers in Cape May. My Dad always had boat. Usually center console open fisherman.
I didn't know how to drive one until the day I went to pick up the first bought I owned. 86' Chris Craft w/cuddy. That boat was great! It died last July, so I upgraded to a cabin cruiser. I'm out almost everyday in the summer, and spend weekends on it.
I'm damn good at driving a boat. I'm going for my Capt. Lic. in the spring.
