It may be time to consider procurring a hobby apartment. I would love some feedback on locations... I am thinking just south of the metro area. I've been mobile, now wondering how far is too far for a hobbyists to travel? Any thoughts or suggestions?

+1 Mr. Chan thank you. Now back to the OP. I have been known to drive 2.5 hours to visit a lady if she's on my list. There was a very special lady I drove all the way to Arizona to visit with this past summer but she was definately an acception to the rule. I have driven an hour to an hour and a half several time to visit. In my area when things dry up, like they are now, I don't do back page, I will take the hour to hour and a half road trips. Driving that far on a regular basis isn't something I want to do so if I had to pick a distance to drive on a regular basis I would say 25 miles or less. Just my .02 worth

I would say the 20 minutes or so outside of a central hobby location is a good idea... However, I would keep your final decision about a new location out of the thread, and even encourage your reviewers to mask the location with ambiguity... i.e., "Central Arkansas" instead of "Bryant" or "Little Rock."

Hobbyists and providers aren't the only folks that read the posts on this board.
