How does an 18 year old rent a hotel room?

Basic hoe motel requires you to be 19.
The Hilton requires you to be 21.

I hate I didn't know these secrets when I was 18.........

Priceline. I am under 21 and rent my room every time. I have never once had someone turn me down after seeing my I.D. and Yes, I stay at the Hilton quite a lot. I think it is more a matter of how you carry yourself. If it's a bunch of rowdy 18 year olds running around yelling no way they are not getting a room. When I walk in like a normal responsible adult they just give me my room keys.
So that's the secret....prebooking online.

I rented rooms when I was 18. When did they raise the age?
I think it's only the major hotel chains (Hilton, Hyatt) that changed it to 21. Someone just brought that to my attention.
Yeah, I rented rooms when I was 18 as well with no hassle.
Almost all hotels that have bars in them require you to be 21.

I rented rooms when I was 18 but that was several hundred years ago.

I had to stay over the weekend in LA. While checking in I had to sign a waiver that I was not going to produce, act in, on work on a porn video on the property.
I just recently turned 22 and when I was 18 to 20, of course they SAY you have to be 21 but I always booked online, made sure it was at least two nights, and if they said anything about their age limit I would either do the sad lil puppy eyes or after to pay more as a deposit. Depending if it was a male or female working at the desk.

I have rented rooms since I was 18...no issues, but yes I do have a few fake DLs. 10 years ago, you only had to be 18 to rent a room as long as you had a major credit card.
I need a fake I.D so baddd! Mardi Gras will be a hassle without it lol I'll just go Skylar's route with the puppy dog eyes.
and having that nice a tush don't hurt either
